The Child Is Linked to the Wrong Class – How Do I Move the Account to the Correct One?

If a child is linked to the wrong location, there are two ways to update it — either the parent can do it themselves in the app, or an admin can update it from the admin platform.


Option 1: Parent Updates the Location in the App

Parents can change their child’s location directly in the app if needed.

Steps for the Parent:

  1. Open the Glanmore app

  2. Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner

  3. Click the Pen to edit the profile settings

  4. Under “Class name”, select the correct location from the dropdown

  5. Save the changes

The update takes effect immediately and ensures the child sees the right menu and ordering options.

Option 2: Admin Updates the Location in admin.kanpla

Admins can also update the child’s location if the parent is unsure how or unable to do it.

Steps for Admin:

  1. Go to admin.kanpla.io and log in

  2. Navigate to the Users section

  3. Use the search bar to find the child (by name or email)

  4. Click on the child’s profile

  5. Under “Location”, choose the correct one from the dropdown

  6. Click Save

The parent will see the updated location the next time they enter the app.
