Can Two Parent Accounts Be Linked to the Same Child?

Updated over a week ago

As an admin, you may be asked whether it’s possible for more than one parent to have access to the same child’s profile via two accounts on the Glanmore Foods platform

Short Answer: No – Not by Default

Currently, Kanpla does not support linking the same child to multiple parent accounts.

Each child is assigned to a single invitation, which must be accepted using one parent email address. This account becomes the primary account used for ordering and managing that child’s meals.

Workaround (If Needed):

If there’s a need for two guardians to access the same child (e.g., in shared custody situations), here’s what you can do:

  1. One parent registers using the invitation

  2. That parent can:

    • Share login credentials with the other parent (note: this is outside standard support scope and at their discretion), or

    • Coordinate orders manually between each other

For data protection reasons, Kanpla only officially supports one user per child profile. Any shared access is handled privately between guardians.

How you will be able to support:

If a parent is requesting a second account or claims they can’t see the child:

  • Confirm which email address was used during the initial invitation

  • Ensure that no duplicate invitations were created for the same child

  • If unsure, contact Kanpla Support to check the account setup
