How do I invite a child who isn’t listed in the Invitations Dashboard? (4 minute read)

Where to Find the Invitations Dashboard as an Admin on kanpla.admin

Log in to kanpla.admin, then select “Invitations” from the left-hand menu. This will open the Invitations Dashboard where you can manage all invitations.

Step 1: Check the Invitations Dashboard

All users with active orders from the previous term should appear in this list.


The only users who may not show up are new students starting this term

For example, if Jane Doe reaches out requesting an invitation link, first:

  • Make sure you’ve filtered for the correct school

  • Double-check the spelling of the name

⚠️ Always confirm that the user is not already listed in the Invitations Dashboard before proceeding to Step 2, as this will otherwise create duplicate profiles, leading to duplicate orders.

Step 2: New Students at an Existing School or Students at a New School

Follow these steps to create a new invitation:

  1. Go to the Invitations dashboard.

  2. Go to All invitations.

  3. Click the three dots in the top-right corner, next to the green “Invite all” button.

  4. Select “New invitation.”

  5. A new window will appear.

    1. Choose the school in the Location dropdown.

    2. Select the student's year and class.

    3. Enter the student’s full name.

    4. Enter the email.

⚠️ Important

Creating the invitation only generates the invitation link and adds the student to the invitations dashboard - it does not send the invitation. You will need to send the invitation afterwards.
