How do I create a Data Export with automatic email delivery? (5 minute read)

This feature allows you to receive data exports automatically via email – without needing to log into Kanpla. You can choose the recipients and how often the report is delivered.


Follow this step-by-step guide to set up you new Scheduled Delivery of Data Export:

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Log in to admin.kanpla.dk

  2. Click “Statistics” in the menu on the left side

  3. Select “Data Export” from the overview

  4. Click the “+” button in the top-right corner to create a new export

  5. Give your export a name, and choose the type of data you want to include

  6. Click “Continue” to go to the filters of the data export

  7. Set filters for your report:

    1. Choose the time period you want data from

    2. Select the location(s) the report should cover

    3. Choose which modules to include (e.g. canteen, orders, etc.)

  8. Click “Continue”

  9. Pick the columns you want to include in the export (e.g. number of orders, revenue, etc.)

  10. Click “Continue” to set up email delivery

  11. Turn on “Delivery via email” by activating the toggle

  12. Enter one or more email addresses to receive the report

  13. Choose how often the report should be sent:

    1. Daily: Delivers the file daily

    2. Weekly: Delivers the file every Monday

    3. Twice a month: Delivers the file on 1st and 15th every month

    4. Every second week: Delivers the file on Monday every second week

    5. Monthly: Delivers the file 1st every month
      Choose file type: CSV or XLSX

  14. Press continue to review the full summary of your new data export

  15. Click “Save” to activate the delivery

Important: Once activated, the report will be sent every night at 12am
