Delivery Time is a plugin in Kanpla that allows users to select a specific delivery time when placing an order. It is particularly relevant in contexts such as meeting catering or large-scale canteen operations, where precise timing and logistics are crucial for smooth operations.

With this plugin, kitchens and administrators can set predefined time intervals – for example, 08:00–10:00 or 11:30–12:30 – and decide whether choosing a delivery time should be mandatory. Additionally, it’s possible to limit the number of deliveries per time slot, helping to evenly distribute the kitchen workload.

The Delivery Time plugin not only supports better planning but also enhances the user experience by giving end users greater control over when their food is delivered.

Step 1: In the admin panel, click on “Settings” in the left-hand menu.

Step 2: Select the feature called “Modules.”

Step 3: Choose the Hospitality module where you want to activate delivery time.

Step 4: Click the “Plugin” button located in the banner just below the module name.

Step 5: Find the plugin named “Delivery time” and toggle it ON to activate it.

Step 6: Click “Edit” to configure the plugin settings.

Step 7: Add a Name of input (e.g. Choose your delivery time).

Step 8: Set the available Delivery time range (e.g. 07:30 – 16:00).

Step 9: Choose the delivery time intervals (e.g. every 15 minutes, every 30 minutes).

Step 10: Add a Description to explain how or when orders will be delivered (optional but helpful for the customer).

Step 11: Enable the “Take away” toggle if you want to allow pickup as an option.

Step 12: Turn on “Delivery time on individual level” if you want guests to select delivery times per product (useful for mixed orders).

Step 13: Click “OK” to confirm your settings.

Step 14: Press “Save” in the top right corner to apply your changes.
