This guide shows you how to generate a statistical report for a specific product in Kanpla Administration.
This is especially useful if you want to analyze the sales of a single product – for example, Dish of the Day – for a specific period or across multiple locations.
All of this can be done directly through the Data Export feature.
How to create a report for a specific product:

Step 1: Log in
Go to Kanpla Administration and log in with your credentials.
Step 2: Go to Statistics
Click on Statistics in the left-hand menu.
Step 3: Open Data Export
Select Data Export to create a new export or review previous reports.
Step 4: Click ‘Create Export’ (+)
Click the ‘+’ in the top right corner to start a new data export.
Step 5: Select export type
Under Type, choose “Sales – one row per product.”
This export type displays all product-related data such as product name, price, quantity sold, date, and category.
Step 6: Select period, location, and modules
Under Filter, choose:
The period you want to view data for (e.g., last week, last month, last quarter)
The location you want to generate the report for
The modules to include (e.g., Canteen, Café, or Kiosk)
This ensures your report only includes data from the relevant places.
Step 7: Add columns
To focus on specific products, make sure to include the columns ‘Product name’ and ‘Product quantity’, along with any other relevant data such as Billing date, Location name, or User name.
Click the button with the three dots to select Include all columns if you want to include the full dataset.
This makes it easier to analyze the overall performance of your product.
Step 8: Click Download
When you’re ready, click Download to export your report.
The file will be exported as a .CSV file, which you can open in Excel or Google Sheets.
Here, you can for example:
See how many times the product has been sold
Compare sales across locations
Calculate total revenue for a specific period
Filter data to view specific customer types or modules
Extra tip!
If you often need to analyze the same product, you can set up an automatic export for that specific product.
This way, you’ll automatically receive an updated report by email – for example, every week or month.
