How do I set up custom invoice notes? (4 minute read)

By using Notes, you can add a custom title and include additional information to enhance your invoice layout.

Follow this guide to customise your invoices with titles, extra info, and advanced options in your billing settings.

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

  • In the left side panel, click on Settings.

Step 2: Access the Billing Section

  • Find and select the Billing menu item.

Step 3: Open Invoice Blocks

  • In the Billing section, locate your invoice blocks. Click on the block you wish to edit, and then select the Notes field.

Step 4: Enable Split Billing

  • Next to Notes, click on Adaptation. Toggle Split Billing to activate it. This feature creates one invoice per order instead of grouping all orders on a single invoice.

Step 5: Explore More Note Options

  • Return to the Notes section. You’ll now see extra options to the right of the notes field.

Step 6: Use Auto-Insert Categories

  • In the gray box, you can click on different categories (e.g., order time, idea). These will automatically insert and fill relevant details based on the order.

By following these steps, you can customise your invoices with static and dynamic information, saving time on manual edits.
