How do I set up a new salesplace? (5 minute read)

When you set up a new Salesplace, you’re creating either a physical or digital location in Kanpla where your guests can:

  • Create a user profile

  • Place orders

  • Pay for their orders

This salesplace acts as the home base in the system for those users — it’s where their orders will be received, and where billing and payments will be managed for that specific location.

Grouping Users Inside a Salesplace with Selectors:
You can also divide your users into smaller groups within a Salesplace by using Selectors.

For example:

  • Organise school orders by class (like 1A, 1B, 2A)

  • Split company orders by department

  • Separate guests for different billing or order filtering needs


Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Go to www.admin.kanpla.dk/

Step 2: In the admin panel, click on the “Settings”

Step 3: Click on “Salesplaces” in the left-hand menu.

Step 4: Click the “+ New” button to create a new salesplace

Step 5: Choose “New Location”

Step 6: Give your salesplace a name.

  • If the salesplace is a company, we recommend that you name the salesplace the company's name

  • If the Salesplace is a kiosk, canteen, or another type of location, we recommend using the exact name of the physical Salesplace

Step 7: Choose which group of salesplaces the salesplace should be connected to.

  • This ensures that the Salesplace is linked to a group where modules and products can be shared across multiple locations.

Step 8: Select the default language you want your guests to see.

  • Note that individual users will still be able to change the language themselves within the app.

Step 9: At the top, click on “Customer information” to fill in all necessary information.

Step 10: Fill in important details like:

  • Company name

  • Registration number (CVR)/ VAT Number

Step 11: At the top, click on “Contact info” to fill in all contact information of the specific salesplace.

Step 12: Fill in your contact details (phone, email, address, etc.).

Step 13: Click “Save” in the top right corner
