The New Menu in Kanpla

Updated this week

The new Menu brings products, display, and ordering together in one flexible structure. Unlike the old Meal Plan (Shop), the Menu works more dynamically with availability, deadlines, and modular setup - allowing you to manage offerings down to product line and day level.

In short: Menu = flexible product and day management, which will replace Meal Plan/Shop going forward.

Follow the step-by-step guide below to create a product in the new Menu tab:

Step-by-Step:

Step 1: Go to Menu in Kanpla Administration

  1. Log in to your Kanpla Administration account.

  2. Click on Menu in the left-hand sidebar.

Step 2: Select the correct module and sales location

  1. Choose the module where the product should be available (located next to the week field).

  2. Select the relevant sales location to ensure correct product placement.

Step 3: Add a new product

  1. Click on Add in the top right corner.

  2. A window will appear showing existing products. To create a new one, click on the + in the right-hand corner of this window.

  3. Enter the product details:

    • Name

    • Description

    • Category

    • Group

    • Price

    • (Optional) Image

  4. You can also add Offers directly under the product setup by clicking Add offer.

  5. (Optional) Add Options to your products - such as sizes, toppings, or extras.

  6. Insert Ingredients by clicking Edit ingredients.

  7. Click Add product to save the new product into both your product bank and the module.

  8. A confirmation of your created product will now appear.
    Here you can:

    • Add User codes linked to the users who should have access.

    • Set User limits (min./max. per user).

    • Insert a Deadline (when the product can be purchased from/until).

  9. Finally, click Save to store your settings and complete the product creation.

Step 4: Back to Menu

Once the product is saved, it will appear in the selected product bank.

  • Return to Menu in the left-hand sidebar of Kanpla Administration.

  • Check that the product looks as expected.

Step 5: Your product is now created

After verifying that the product is placed in the correct module, you can also check that it displays correctly for your customers.

  • Make sure the product is visible, placed correctly, and available for purchase.
