The child is linked to the wrong class – how do I move the account to the correct one? (2 minute read)

If a child is linked to the wrong location, there are two ways to update it — either the parent can do it themselves in the app, or an admin can update it from the admin platform.


Update the class in admin.kanpla

Admins can also update the child’s location if the parent is unsure how or unable to do it.

Steps for Admin:

Step 1: Go to admin.kanpla.io and log in


Step 2: Navigate to the Users section


Step 3: Use the search bar to find the child (by name or email)


Step 4: Click on the child’s profile


Step 5: Under “Selector Group”, choose the correct one from the dropdown


Step 6: Click Save

The parent will see the updated location the next time they enter the app.
