How to search for a customers specific order? (2 minute read)

Updated this week

Sometimes a guest - like Jane Doe - might reach out with a question about a specific order they placed. When that happens, you need a fast and reliable way to locate their order without digging through a long list of unrelated ones.

Luckily, Kanpla makes it easy. With the filters on the Overview page, you can quickly narrow down results and find exactly what you’re looking for.

This guide walks you through how to search for a specific guest’s order:

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Go to Kanpla Administration.

Step 2: Click on “Overview” in the left-side menu.

Step 3: If, for example, Jane Doe contacts you about an order placed on 29th of October, go to the Ordering Overview section.

Step 4: Apply the necessary filters:

  • Filter on Orders: Select “Orders” to view placed orders.

  • Filter by Salesplace: Select the salesplace Jane Doe is connected to.
Tip: You can find her salesplace by searching for her name in the User Overview.

  • Filter by Date: Set the correct date range to include 29th of October.

  • Filter by Module: Choose the module where she placed her order.

Step 5: After setting the filters, search for her name in the search field on the right side of the page to locate her order.

Step 6: If the order is placed correctly, the order will now be shown in within the overview

You have now found the guest’s order!
