How do I test that my Adyen payment terminal is working? (2 minute read)

Once your terminal is connected to the internet, it’s important to test if it’s successfully communicating with the Adyen payments platform (where all transactions are processed)


Follow this step-by-step guide to test the network connection of your Adyen payment terminal:

Step 1: On your terminal, go to Settings by pressing 9 and then the green button to open the settings menu

Step 2: Select Diagnostics

Step 3: Enter the PIN code: 7705

Step 4: Tap PSP connection.

If the Status shows “Successful”, your terminal is properly connected and ready to accept payments.

⚠️ If the Status says “Failure”, the terminal is not connected to the Adyen platform. Double-check your internet connection and try again.
