How do I connect an Adyen Payment terminal to the POS app? (3 minute read)

To process card payments through the Kanpla POS app, your Adyen terminal must be connected to the POS device and assigned to your till.

Follow these steps to complete the setup:


Step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Plug your Adyen terminal into a power source

Step 2: Ensure it’s connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet

  • You should see a connection icon on the terminal screen

Step 3: In the Kanpla POS app, go to Device Settings

Step 4: Scroll down and select Payment Terminals

Step 5: Tap “Select device

Step 6: A list of available terminal serial numbers will now be displayed

Step 7: On the back of your Adyen terminal, you’ll find a serial number labeled “S/N: 806-XXX-XXX” (9 digits)

Step 8: Select the serial number that matches your terminal

Step 9: Once selected, the button will turn red and display “Disconnect”, confirming the connection

Step 10: You’re all set! The terminal is now linked and ready to process card payments through the POS app
