How to set up a push message for your users: A step-by-step guide (4 minute read)

You can engage with your customers by sending a push notification - a simple message that everyone who has downloaded the app will receive as a notification.

Step 1: Navigate to Communication Settings

  • In the left-side panel, find the ‘Communication’ section.

  • Click on ‘Push-message’, then select ‘Send new message’.’

Step 2: Create the Push Notification

  • Title: Enter a title for your message.

  • Message: Write the content of the notification.

  • Pop-up Option: Decide if you want this message to also appear as a pop-up the next time the customer logs into the app/web app.

  • Link: You can link the message to a specific product, module, or date.

  • Location Choose the location

  • Timing: Choose the time for when the message should be sent - here you can pick one of the following:


Decide when the end-user should receive the push message:

Immediate Send:

You can choose to send the message immediately, so your customers receive the notification right away.

Schedule for Later:

You can schedule the message for a specific date and time in the future, allowing you to plan ahead for important announcements.

Repeating Interval:

You can also set the notification to be sent within a repeating interval. This option allows the message to be sent multiple times on a regular basis, keeping your customers informed over a recurring period.

Once set up, this will ensure that your customers receive the notification, keeping them informed and engaged with your services.
