You can easily add variants to your products to expand your offerings and group multiple product options under one listing.
This is a smooth and efficient way to provide customers with a wide range of choices for a specific product.
Step 1: Go to Menu
Log in to your Kanpla Administration account.
In the left panel, click on ‘Menu’
Step 2: Select the correct product
In the top left corner, you can choose between ‘Menu’ and ‘Products’.
Click on ‘Products’ to open the product bank, where all your created products are displayed.
Find the desired product – you can use the search function to make this easier
Click on the product to open its settings.
Step 3: Add variants/options
At the bottom of the product settings, you will find the button ‘Options’.
Click on ‘Options’.
Click on ‘+ New option’
Enter a name for the variant – use a short and descriptive name that covers the type of variants (e.g. “Sandwiches” or “Salads”)
Then add the specific variants by clicking ‘Add choice’, e.g. vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.
Step 4: Set variant limits
You can set minimum and maximum limits for how many variants a customer can choose.
Step 5: Customize variants
Click the pencil icon next to each variant to customize it.
Here, you can for example add an extra price (e.g. a fee) or specify how many times a customer can choose the variant per purchase.
You can also link the variant to an actual product, giving you more control over inventory management and product availability.
Step 6: Save your changes
When you are done setting up your variants, click ‘Save option’ to confirm.
Then click ‘Save’ in the top right corner of the product settings to finish and save all changes.
