Introduction to Detailed Production List (4 minute read)

Updated over 5 months ago

The Detailed Production List offers a more granular view of what needs to be produced for a specific day, breaking down orders not just by category, but by individual ingredients and variants depending on your specific needs.

Unlike the standard Production List, which provides a broad overview of items (e.g., total warm dishes), the Detailed Production List dives deeper into specifics.

What does the Detailed Production List include?

  • Ingredient Breakdown: Rather than simply listing a total for categories (e.g., "2x milk"), the Detailed Production List specifies the types of milk needed. This ensures the kitchen staff knows exactly which ingredients to prepare.

  • Variant Details: The list also shows product variants, helping the kitchen understand specific orders, such as different flavor options or special requests.

  • Customisation by Customer: Depending on the settings configured for the print list, the Detailed Production List can also specify which customer receives which product, along with the variants and ingredients required for each customer’s

Use Case:

If a customer orders a warm dish with specific ingredient preferences, the Detailed Production List will reflect those details, ensuring that the correct ingredients and variants are prepared and distributed accordingly.

This level of detail helps kitchens manage complex orders more effectively, ensuring that specific customer requirements are met and production is tailored accurately to the needs of the day.
