How do I create a closing period for a salesplace? (3 minute read)

You can create two types of closing periods that you can create in the Kanpla Administation as an admin:

  1. Permanent Closing Days (e.g., every Wednesday of the week)

  2. Set Closing Periods for specific holidays like Christmas or Easter.

Follow these steps to create a closing period for a sales place:

Quick steps:

Step 1: Log in to Kanpla Administration.

Step 2: Access Settings:
Click on the settings wheel in the bottom left corner.

Step 3: Select Closing Days:
Once in the settings menu, click on Closing Days.

Step 4: Add New Closing Period:
Click the "Add New Closing Period" button in the top right corner.

Step 5: Name the Closing Period:
Enter a name for the closing period (e.g., Christmas Break) and click "Add a New Closing Period."

Step 6: Set the Closing Period:
Choose the modules that the closing period will apply to (e.g., ordering module).

Step 7: Assign to Salesplaces:
Select the specific sales place(s) where you want to apply the closing time.

Step 8: Design a Message for Users:
In the "Select Design" section, write a message that will be displayed to users in the ordering module during the closing period.

Step 9: Review and Approve:
Review all the details before approval. Please note that any orders placed during the closing period will be deleted once the closing period is approved.

By following these steps, you can ensure a smooth closing process for your sales place.

Note: If any orders are placed during the period you are setting for closure, all of these orders will be automatically refunded once the closing period is approved.
