A recurring order allows parents to automatically repeat the same meal selections across multiple weeks — saving time and ensuring consistent ordering without manual input every week.
We recommend encouraging parents to use recurring orders whenever possible. Recurring orders help reduce mistakes and make it easier for both parents and staff to manage meal orders.
As a Glanmore admin, it’s helpful to understand how recurring orders work, so you can assist parents and manage orders effectively.
Here’s how recurring ordering works from the parent’s point of view:
1. Parents go to the “Recurring order” section in the Kanpla app.
2. They choose which weekdays they want to order for (e.g. Monday–Friday).
3. For each weekday, they pick a product or meal (e.g. sandwich, pasta).
4. Once completed, the system will automatically place these orders every week.
5. Parents can always edit or delete the recurring order within the deadline — it’s fully flexible.
🧠 Orders are placed before each Thursday at 2:00 PM for the following week — based on the recurring order setup.
