How do I refund an order through the POS app? (2 minute read)

If a customer needs a refund, you can easily process it directly in the POS app.


Here’s how:

Step 1: Open the Kanpla POS app on your device

Step 2: Tap the Transactions tab in the bottom menu

Step 3: Find the order you want to refund

  • You can use the scroll through the order list.

Step 4: Tap the “Refund” button

Step 5: Select the item(s) to refund

  • Choose individual items or the full order. The refund amount will update accordingly.

Step 6: Choose whether the refund should be processed to the payment card or given in cash

Step 7: Tap “Confirm refund” to complete the process

Note: The refund is subject to a processing time, and the customer will typically receive the money back in their bank account within 1–3 business days, depending on their bank.
