If you’re using a barcode scanner to speed up product registration and streamline your checkout process, you can easily connect it to the Kanpla POS app. Our barcode scanners work via USB, and are plug-and-play, meaning they don’t require additional configuration.

Step 1: Connect the card reader to the device via the USB cable
Step 2: Once connected the barcode scanners light will turn red and make an activation sound
The barcode scanner is now connected and ready to be used.
Note: The barcode scanner will only work properly, if all barcode digits are submitted to the products
How to set up barcodes for my products:
Step 1: Go to Mealplan (Shop)
Step 2: Find the specific product
Step 3: Press the product and select ‘Edit product info’
Step 4: Scroll and find ‘Other options’
Step 5: Enter the correct barcode in the ‘Barcode (ISBN, EAN, UPC, etc.)’ field.
Step 6: Click ‘Save’ to confirm the changes.
