Updated over 3 weeks ago

Connecting a scale to your POS till allows you to sell products based on weight — ideal for canteens, buffets, or shops that price items per gram or kilo. Follow the steps below to get your scale set up and ready for use.

What you need:

Step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Plug the scale into a power outlet using the included cable

Step 2: Use the provided USB cable to connect the scale directly to your till.

Step 3: Once the cables are connected correctly, press the power button on the left side of the scale to turn it on.

Set the scale configuration

This scale has to be configured in 2 ways. Follow the instructions below to set the scale correctly:

Step 1: Turn off the scale using the power button on the side where the cable is connected.

Step 2: Turn the scale back on while holding the T button.

Step 3: Release the T button after the scale has powered on.

Step 4: The configuration should show “FLT 14” - this means you are in configuration mode.

Step 5: Use the star * button to change numbers.

Step 6: Set the first row of numbers to 1

Step 7: Press the T button to move to the second row, and also set it to 4.

Step 8: Press the 0 button to save and exit the configuration mode.

Now configurate the type of the scale:

Step 1: Turn off the scale again using the power button.

Step 2: Turn the scale back on while holding the 0 button.

Step 3: Release the 0 button after the scale powers on.

Step 4: The screen should now display “0 SET”

Step 5: Press the 0 button once

Step 6: Press the T button to cycle through the available scale types

Step 7: Keep pressing T until you see Type 3 displayed.

Step 8: Confirm your selection by pressing the 0 button twice.

Step 10: The scale will now display a sequence from “11111111” up to “9999999”, followed by “0.000”.

The scale is now correctly configured!
