Note: In Kanpla, you can set two types of prices for a product: Product Price and Availability Price. If these prices differ, the system will interpret this as a promotional offer on the product, displaying it accordingly to users.
1. Understanding Product and Availability Prices
Product Price: The default price of the product.
Availability Price: A special price set for a certain period (e.g., a promotional offer).
If there’s no special offer, the product price and availability price needs to be the same otherwise the system will treat the price as an offer price and mark the price in orange.
2. No Offer on the Product
When there's no special offer, follow these steps to ensure the prices are correctly set:
Edit the Product Price:
Click on the product.
Select "Edit Product Info" and update the product price.
Edit the Availability Price:
Click on "Edit Availability."
Ensure the availability price matches the product price.
Make sure both prices are either including or excluding VAT—they must match.
3. If There's an Offer on the Product
For special promotions or offers:
Set the Availability Price:
Click on "Edit Availability."
Set the offer price and its valid period.
Ensure VAT is consistently included or excluded.
Save Changes:
Save your settings. The offer price will be highlighted in orange, and the original product price will be crossed out to show the discount to customers.
