Setting up the Star mPOP printer
Connect the Star mPOP printer to a power chord. A blue icon will display when connected correctly
Eject the printer by pressing on the front of the printer
Open the litt and insert the paper roll into the printer and close the litt. You can see the guide on the top for more information
Connecting the Star mPOP to the POS device
After setting up the printer, you need to connect the printer to your POS device.
We highly recommend connecting your mC-2 with a cable/USB.
Connecting the Star mPOP by USB (Recommended)
Connecting the Star mPOP Cash drawer by USB ensures a stable and faster connection than Bluetooth. We highly recommend that you connect via USB cable.
Connect the Star mPOP printer to power
Once the printer is turned on, connect the USB cable to the cash drawer and to the POS device
For Android devices, use a USB-A to USB-B cable to connect
For connection to iPadOS devices, use a USB-A to Lightning/USB-C cable to connect. This cable will also charge the iOS device
Connecting the Star mPOP by Bluetooth
Make sure the Star mPOP is connected to power and is displaying a blue icon on the top of of the cash drawer
Go to Settings on your device and open Bluetooth
Find the device Star mPOP ... and connect the device
Setting up the connection in Kanpla POS
Once you have completed the above steps, you need to connect the Star mPOP to the Kanpla POS app.
Open Kanpla POS app and go to Device Settings
Click Choose device under Cash drawer
You will see the connected device Star mPOP. Press on it
The printer is now connected ✅
You can test the connection by printing a receipt or Sales report. You can also test the cashdrawer by navigating to the Menu and pressing "Open cash drawer"
